How great horse is Animal Kingdom?

I noticed that Animal Kingdom was different from other Kentucky Derby winners, when I watched Animal Kingdom's tremendous acceleration at the final stretch to win the 2011 Kentucky Derby on NBC TV broadcast Kentucky Derby 2011 - 137th Winner is Animal Kingdom 20-1 shot. It was the second fastest at the final half a mile next to the Secretariat in 150 years of Kentucky Derby history in 2024. There was no horse that ran faster than Animal Kingdom at the final half a mile (4 furlongs; 805 meters) except Secretariat since 1875, when the Kentucky Derby began, until 2024 in 150 years of Kentucky Derby history, and it was his first race on a dirt racetrack!
Animal Kingdom ran 47 1⁄5 Seconds, and Secretariat ran 46 2⁄5 in 1973.

Dancing Brave was Lyphard's son. Lyphard was the son of Northern Dancer and so Dancing Brave was the grandson of Northern Dancer. Lyphard appeared twice in Animal Kingdom’s pedigree of sire and dam once each. It looks like that Animal Kingdom had very similar running style as Dancing Brave who was Lyphard’s son. It was like a rocket shooting, power and acceleration. Dancing Brave was born in Kentucky in 1983. He was trained and raced in British. Dancing Brave awarded the 1986 British Horse of the Year and Top-rated European horse (International Classification) 1986.

Somethingroyal (March 12, 1952 - June 9, 1983) was an American Throughbred Racehorse best known as the dam of the 1973 U.S Triple Crown Champion and Hall of Fame Horse Secretariat.

Secretariat's dam, Somethingroyal appeared in Animal Kingdom's pedigree through Dancing Brave: Dancing Brave (USA) male was born in 1983 - Navajo Princess (USA) female was born in 1974 - Drone (USA) male was born in 1966 - Sir Gaylord (USA) male was born in 1959 - Somethingroyal (USA) female was born in 1952.

Also Animal Kingdom is the descendent of Nasrullah who Secretariat's grandsire.

About True King Animal Kingdom Horse Book

May I talk about the mysterious and incredible story that happened to me and Animal Kingdom Horse? I am Sun Choe, an artist and a big fan of Animal Kingdom horse who won the 2011 Kentucky Derby. I am the person who tactically helped Animal Kingdom win the world's richest horse race in 2013, a 10 million USD purse sponsored by Emirates Air Line, at the 2013 Dubai World Cup, and the world does not know about it.

This is Animal Kingdom’s great racing YouTube video at the 2013 Dubai World Cup

In this book, I tell how I tactically helped Animal Kingdom win the 2013 Dubai World Cup, and I also prove mathematically and scientifically the cause of the majestic Animal Kingdom's poor run at the 2013 Royal Ascot Queen Ann Stakes. It was the heart break and there were misunderstandings about people are saying, “It was a mistake to send him over there, because of the turf track was soft so it didn’t fit him, Ascot track was straight, or he was crazy about Elusive Kate (female horse) racing with him”. None of what these people said is true. They love Animal Kingdom. They wanted to protect the Animal Kingdom horse and the jockey from getting injury, for they had been watching their close friend, Ramon Dominguez, suffer from a skull fracture injury during the time. Animal Kingdom could have won the 2013 Royal Ascot Queen Ann Stakes easily. The loss was an absolutely human's mistake caused by taking care of Animal Kingdom and the jockey's well-being and safety. You can see on the next chapter: What was the cause of Animal Kingdom's poor run at the 2013 Royal Ascot Queen Ann Stakes?

We cannot change the race result, but it is not too late to give Animal Kingdom's fame back for himself, his great ancestors, and his descendants.

This book is an amazing, interesting and humanistic story. I would like to present this beautiful book with my poems and artworks to Animal Kingdom horse and all his loving fans with very much respect and love. I would like to thank Barry Irwin, Team Valor International’s owner and CEO, Animal Kingdom breeder, and one of Animal Kingdom’s owners, for answering my e-mails. I thank God and Animal Kingdom horse for giving this humble person the inspiration to write this book.

While I was writing this book last year, I didn't realize spring had come and gone outside. Spring comes again, how life is beautiful as we feel spring with a full heart!
Thank you very much.

I had never seen Animal Kingdom horse. I wanted to go see his last race in the United States on February 9, 2013, the Gulf Stream Park Turf Handicap 1 1⁄8 miles (9 furlongs; 1,810 meters), but I couldn’t sell my painting. Since I was interested in Animal Kingdom horse, I read all the articles about Animal Kingdom horse on the internet, facebook and twitter. I watched Animal Kingdom’s racing YouTube videos over and over again because I enjoyed watching it. I also read about his great ancestors articles and watched some of their racing YouTube videos for I was curious about Animal Kingdom.

I am the person who tactically helped Animal Kingdom win the world's richest horse race in 2013, a 10 million USD purse sponsored by Emirates Airline, at the 2013 Dubai World Cup, and the world does not know about it. I proved how a thoroughbred racing fan can be involved in racing and helped my loving Animal Kingdom's win the 2013 Dubai World Cup. I did not make any money; I neither bet on Animal Kingdom at the Dubai World Cup, nor did I tell anyone to bet on him. I did not gamble at the time. I only enjoyed watching Animal Kingdom smile in the winner’s circle.

I noticed that Animal Kingdom was different from other Kentucky Derby winners, when I watched Animal Kingdom's tremendous acceleration at the final stretch to win the 2011 Kentucky Derby on NBC TV broadcast. It was the second fastest at the final half a mile next to Secretariat in 144 years of the Kentucky Derby history in 2018. In other words, there was no horse that ran faster than Animal Kingdom at the final half a mile (4 furlongs; 805 meters) except Secretariat in 144 years of the Kentucky Derby history in 2018 as of the writing this book, and it was his first race on a dirt racetrack!

Even though Graham Motion trained Animal Kingdom well, there were some tactical issues with the jockeys. The jockey’s tactical error with Animal Kingdom at the 2011 Preakness Stakes was that he kept Animal Kingdom back in pack too long. The Preakness Stakes is 1 3⁄16 miles (9.5 furlongs, so a 1⁄16 mile (101 meters), shorter than the Kentucky Derby’s 1 1⁄4 miles (10 furlongs; 2,012 meters). Animal Kingdom started his tremendous speed too late to win and lost by half a length (1.25 meters). Animal Kingdom was trapped inside on November 2, 2012 at the Breeders’ Cup Mile. The jockey started Animal Kingdom’s acceleration too early during on Feb 9, 2013 the Gulf Stream Park Turf Handicap. I felt sorry that Animal Kingdom kept losing, looking sad after each loss, even though he ran great enough to win. It was not his fault. The losses were the tactical problems caused by his jockeys.

When I read Steve Haskin's article '2012 Breeders’ Cup Wrapup: Second the emotion – BloodHorse' published on the internet 07 November, 2012 and saw Animal Kingdom's sad looking photo for the loss because he was trapped inside, it broke my heart as much as Animal Kingdom himself. Animal Kingdom knew that what he could do and win the race. He was sad for the loss because he was trapped inside preventing the "rocket" run.

I wanted Animal Kingdom win to see his smile. I wanted my loving Animal Kingdom to be happy and prove himself to the world how great he is! I had confidence that Animal Kingdom could win, if there were no tactical mistakes as before.

How my e-mail influenced Animal Kingdom's win at the 2013 Dubai World Cup.

I sent the same e-mails to Barry Irwin and Graham Motion on March 22, 2013 before the March 30, 2013 Dubai World Cup of what they should do to keep from making the same tactical mistakes as happened in the previous races.

Subject: Emergecy Information for Animal Kingdom

Dear Berry,

I think Animal Kingdom's front hair needs to be trimmed. I am afraid it will disturb his eyesight. Please trim his neck hair too, It can also disturb jacky's eyesight. and please show Joel Rosario Hunter's light race video Al Mactum race 2 (Feb.6.2013) and AL mactum race 3 (March.09.2013). Hunter's light showed brilliant speed in al Macctum 2 and Al mactum 3.  The final strech speed of Hunter's light is as fast as A.K. We need the strategy about that for the race.  Before the finale strech A.K have to be outside of the race track so. not be trapped like in the Breeder's Cup.

Please Joel Rosario let A.K breath before the final stretch.   And please show Joel Rosario A.K's Kentuky Derby. I think John Velasquez did a great job, A.K won the Kentucky Derby. Are you going to put blink's on A.K? I worry about A.K's night race. Most of the horses do not put on blinks, because of night race vision in Meydan race course in Dubai, please Joel video inform him over and over again so he can do right decision instinctly. I'm very proud of you. Team Valor and Animal Kingdom.I love May God bless A.K.

I sent the same e-mail content to Graham Motion on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 3:51 PM.

I saw Graham Motion's Twitter account on March 28, 2013 a photo showing Animal Kingdom with trimmed hair and Graham Motion said, "We don't have special strategy". I knew they received my e-mail and Animal Kingdom would win the Dubai World Cup. They did all that I sent in the e-mail except the blinks mention for night racing vision, and Animal Kingdom won the 2013 Dubai World Cup without any tactical mistakes. Graham Motion said "I got the idea from the Kentucky Derby" and jockey Joel Rosario said "Graham Motion told me do not enter inside" at the interview after Animal Kingdom winning the 2013 Dubai World Cup.

While I was watching Animal Kingdom's great racing and winning the 2013 Dubai World Cup broadcast, I was happy to see smiling Animal Kingdom in the winner’s circle. I was also pleased that I did something good for the United States of America. I have been grateful to America for making my dream of becoming an artist come true.

I would like to thank Joel Rosario, who rode Animal Kingdom well to win the 2013 Dubai World Cup. It was possible that I might have influenced jockey Joel Rosario's accomplishments in thoroughbred racing in the United States of America. One month after winning the Dubai World Cup on March 30, 2013 with Animal Kingdom, Joel Rosario won the Kentucky Derby with Orb on May 4, 2013, the Belmont Stakes with Tonalist on June 7, 2014, and the Breeders Cup Classic (2018, 2021). Joel Rosario has been doing great since Animal Kingdom won the Dubai World Cup and has become an excellent, world-level jockey. He was awarded the 2021 Eclipse Award for Outstanding Jockey. Jockey Joel Rosario was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in the United States of America in 2024.

I wonder who should buy dinner: Joel Rosario or me? (It’s a joke.)

Sun Choe Artist's Artworks

Artist's Statement
Ladies wearing hats and the beauty of simplicity

I was about eight years old when I first saw Monet's paintings in a new calendar hung on the wall. I especially admired Monet's snow-covered winter landscape paintings. Whenever I looked at the calendar, I wanted to become an artist and paint beautiful pictures like that. Until my 20s, I liked the impressionists' paintings, such as those of Monet and Frank Benson.

I have started to like abstract art since I studied art at Austin Peay State University. I think abstract art is beautiful because there is simplified beautify. Color and form are beautiful in their raw or natural state, in my opinion.

I create the beauty of simplicity by using the large size of the color's contrast and harmony with the adjacent colors, and simplifying line, form, and composition. I like to paint the ladies wearing hats because I love horse racing. I was impressed by the ladies wearing the beautiful hats and being well-dressed at the horse races. The reason I love horse racing is because there is passion.

My art is plane art. Also decorative art like Klimt, Matisse, and Picasso. Hat and flower decorations give beauty to the portrait of a woman of restrained line and form. Also, my art consists of piece-ism. Piece-ism is my art-expressing method and theory that I created:  Everything exists as itself but is related to others. Everything is related to each other and influences each others. The face is the face as itself and is related to the hair, head, and neck. The face, hair, head, and neck are existing, related, and influenced by one another. I express the beauty of piece-ism as the divided pieces with composed forms and colors. The divided pieces are parts of a whole, and they are related to each other by cause and occasion. I call it creation, which is the cause and occasion for things to be divided, related, and changed.

One day, I looked around and realized that this world is beautiful. Everything has its own unique beauty. I think everything in this world is beautiful and they are artists by themselves!

Even the humble wild flower growing by the side of the road knows how to create its own and the best beauty with its purple colors. Even the rocks leisurely lying by the river shore know the beauty of naive colors and enjoy their own beauty.

I've seen a beautiful seashell before. It has probably become beautiful over millions of years, little by little.

I am an artist, but I cannot create as beautifully as they do. I'm just interpreting it with my version.

-I would like to make a note to this book’s readers- 'Even though, the moon is one, it shines one thousand rivers'

I cited this sentence from 'Worin Cheon-gang Jigok', 월인천강지곡; 月印千江之曲;

Songs of the Moonshining on a Thousand Rivers.

King Sejong the Great of the Joseon Dynasty in Korea wrote this poem 'Worin Cheon-gang Jigok' in his reign 29th year (1447) admiring Buddha's enlightenment and to honor the merit of Buddha.

King Sejong the Great established Hall of the Worthies (집현전; 集賢殿; Jiphyeonjeon) with the great scholars and he ordered to invent Hangul, the Korean alphabet. It took 3 years (AD 1443 – 1446, 25th - 28th year of King Sejong) to invent King Sejong and Korean Scholars together. Hangul is scientific writing and pronunciation language system. Koreans then could read and write in their own language.

King Sejong the Great profoundly affected Korean history with his introduction of Hangul, the native phonetic alphabet system for the Korean language. King Sejong presided over introduction of the 28-letter Korean alphabet to read and write easily for his loving nation. (Koreans use a 24 letter alphabet now).

What was the cause of Animal Kingdom's poor run at the 2013 Royal Ascot Queen Ann Stakes?

I would like to talk about the cause of Animal Kingdom's poor run at the 2013 Royal Ascot Queen Ann Stakes. It was the heart break that all of Animal Kingdom’s loving fans and myself watched Animal Kingdom's poor race at the Royal Ascot Queen Ann Stakes on TV, YouTube, and the internet and are saying, "It was a mistake to send him over there, because of the turf track was soft so it didn't fit him, Ascot track was straight, or he was crazy about Elusive Kate (female horse) racing with him,” causing him to run poorly at that race. There were misunderstandings about Animal Kingdom's poor run at the Queen Ann Stakes. None of what these people said is true. It was absolutely humans' mistake and not Animal Kingdom horse’s fault at all.

5 days after winning the 2013 Dubai World Cup on March 30, 2013, Animal Kingdom was moved from Dubai straight to Lambourn, England and trained at there. Lambourn is a large village with an extensive facility for racehorse training and rehabilitation of injured jockeys. Animal Kingdom was in great shape and excellent condition while he stayed in Lambourn, England. Animal Kingdom galloped on May 29, 2013 at the Royal Ascot racetrack with jockey John Velasquez for preparing on June 18, 2013 the Queen Ann Stakes. John Velasquez said at the interview after the gallop that Animal Kingdom was still the same. I watched Animal Kingdom's wonderful galloping through the Animal Kingdom - Ascot Gallop YouTube video published on June 5, 2013 on the internet at the time. I also watched Animal Kingdom’s powerful galloping in Lambourn, England on YouTube videos. Animal Kingdom was heavy favorite with 4-5 odds from the British book-makers, about 10 days before June 18, 2013 at the Queen Ann Stakes. There was no competitor to near him. The second choice was Decoration of War 6-1 odds.

Animal Kingdom ran at the 2012 Breeders’ Cup Mile (Turf) second place at a time of 1.31 4/5 even though he had an eight month layoff for his injury and was unluckily trapped inside. The winner Wise Dan's 1.31.78 was the new track record of Santa Anita Park and close to Mandurah’s world record for a mile on turf 1:31.23 at Monmouth Park Oceanport, New Jersey, USA on June 6. 2010, and Oscar Performance tied at the Poker Stakes by running 1:31.23 on June 17, 2018 at Belmont Park USA. I think if Animal Kingdom had not been trapped inside or had stayed at outside of the race track, it was possible that Animal Kingdom could have set a world record that day. Because Animal Kingdom only could run his explosive speed during the final 8 seconds while he was clear just front of the finish line from being trapped inside. Animal Kingdom ran in second place quickly from 5th place just while he was clear the last 8 seconds from being trapped until he hit the finish line. The Santa Anita track announcer Trever Denman shouted "Animal Kingdom ran like a rocket!” You can tell how strong willed Animal Kingdom was to win by the 2012 Breeders’ Cup Mile YouTube.

Courtesy of Breeders’ Cup World Championships

Animal Kingdom's sire Leroidesanimaux was the 2005 Eclipse Award American Champion Male Turf Horse. Animal Kingdom's dam Dalicia has one of the best pedigrees as turf champions in Europe. Dalicia's sire was Acatenango. Acatenango was the 1985 German Derby winner and German Horse of the Year three times (1985, 1986, and 1987). Dalicia's dam was Dynamis. Dynamis’s sire was Dancing Brave, was the 1986 British Horse of the Year. Dancing Brave is considered as one of the great British Flat champions of the last quarter of a century. Leroidesanimaux, Acatenango, and Dancing Brave were Champions of Turf. Dalicia’s second dam was Diasprina, Germany's champion two-year old filly of 1988. Diasprina gave birth to another German champion juvenile filly Desidera.

Chris Cook published the article 'Animal Kingdom pleases in track gallop ahead of Royal Ascot bid' on the internet on May 29, 2013.

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2013/may/29/animal-kingdom-gallop-royal-ascot

In the article, he explained well about Animal Kingdom's in Ascot track Gallop on May 29, 2013 ahead of the Queen Ann Stakes on June 18, 2013. He said "Horse OK after jumping a path after winning post. Dubai World Cup winner on course for Queen Ann Stakes".

BLOOD HORSE Thoroughbred Racing, International published on June 5, 2013 that Animal Kingdom worked five furlongs in 1:02 on the long an uphill poly track gallop in Lambourn, England in preparation for the June 18 Queen Ann Stakes at Royal Ascot.

BLOOD HORSE Thoroughbred Racing, International published on June 12, 2013 that Animal Kingdom, the 2011 Kentucky Derby winner, worked five furlongs in 1: 03 with a shadow roll over the uphill polytrack gallop, in Lambourn, England in preparation gallop for the June 18 Queen Ann Stakes at Royal Ascot and will consider using it for the race. Trainer Graham Motion equipped a shadow roll on Animal Kingdom because he jumped near the finish line during a May 29 workout at Ascot race track and the June 18 Queen Ann Stakes at Royal Ascot which will be Animal Kingdom's final career start.

Courtesy of BLOOD HORSE Thoroughbred Racing, International.

I believe that Animal Kingdom jumped to avoid the wet area from the heavy rain in the morning near the finish line during a May 29, 2013 workout at Ascot race track. In the YouTube video, the turf of the finish line area was a darker green color than the rest of the track, so we can tell that it was very wet at that area from 2-3 inches of rain from the last night. John Velasquez said "Animal Kingdom is still the same and handled the soft track very well" while wearing a Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund (PDJF) hat. This is the YouTube  video that Animal Kingdom prep galloped with John Velasquez and jumped to avoid the wet area of the finish line.

When I looked at Graham Motion's Twitter post, June 13, 2013, Animal Kingdom had a shadow roll on photo posted and Graham Motion said, Animal Kingdom galloped in 1: 03 for 5 furlongs in Lambourn. "We do experiment of Animal Kingdom wearing the shadow roll for a whole week. Animal Kingdom jumped at the Ascot prep gallop with John Velasquez (The Ascot prep gallop was on May 29th 2013). I didn't see it, but Johnny and people told me. I don't want Animal Kingdom and the jockey to be hurt."

Probably Animal Kingdom trainer Graham Motion and Jockey John Velasquez were influenced by watching their close friend Ramon Dominguez. He had a fall at Aqueduct Racetrack on January 18, 2013 suffering a skull fracture. They made the decision to have Animal Kingdom wear a shadow roll for horse and the jockey's safety because Animal Kingdom jumped near the finish line at the Royal Ascot prep gallop on May 29, 2013. Ramon Dominguez announced his retirement on June 13, 2013 because of his head injury from the fall. Ramon Dominguez was inducted in 2016 into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame Jockey in the United States.

I would like to ask this, "Who can jump over the finish line at the Queen Ann Stakes after climbing up the hill while running a mile at full speed, competing with a dozen other horses?” It is impossible to happen. No horse can do that. I wish trainer Graham Motion and jockey John Velasquez had watched the Animal Kingdom - Ascot Prep gallop YouTube video on the internet published on June 5, 2013 before they made the decision that Animal Kingdom wear a shadow roll on for a week most of the time, then they could tell Animal Kingdom jumped to avoid the wet area around the finish line from the early morning heavy rain.

I knew then that the shadow roll was the reason of why he galloped 1 second slower, 1.03 June 12, 2013 for 5 furlongs than the week before 1.02 June 5, 2013. Animal Kingdom never galloped that slowly 1.03 for 5 furlongs one week before the race. I didn't see the June 13, 2013 post on Graham Motion's Twitter until June 15, 2013. I checked into all the competitors of the 2013 Queen Ann Stakes, and I thought Animal Kingdom would win easily, and there was nothing to worry about at the time. His odds were a 4-5 favorite. There was no competitor near Animal Kingdom. The second choice was Declaration of War 6-1 odds.

So I sent the 'Super Emergency Information for Animal Kingdom Queen Ann Mile' e-mail to Barry Irwin and Graham Motion that Animal Kingdom should not wear the shadow roll. Barry replied within a few hours and said “Most courteously I would like to ask you, please do not send this e-mail again.” because I sent the same e-mail three times for the importance of it. It was the first e-mail I received from them. I read the e-mail few days later he sent.

Subject: Super important information for Animal Kingdom Queen Ann Mile Stakes from Sun

Dear Barry,

Hi. I noticed that Animal Kingdom's nose band has changed to thick and high band from thin and narrow leather band that he wore in the Kentucky Derby and Dubai World Cup. I am afraid this new thick high nose band can disturb his eye sight when Animal Kingdom is wearing blinkers. Animal Kingdom never raced wearing this kind of thick, high nose band so he is not used to wearing this in racing. If Animal Kingdom wears this thick, high nose band he will have to change his head angle higher to see while in the race that he is not used to doing it. Could you change it back to the thin leather nose band that he wore in the Kentucky Derby and Dubai World Cup.

Could you change Animal Kingdom's nose band to the same one he used to wear, a thin leather band so he feels comfortable because he is used to wearing it in racing.

May God bless Animal Kingdom!                                                                                                        Thank You very much.

                         Yours truly, Sun.

I sent the same e-mail content to Graham Motion on June 15, 2013 at 5:15 PM.

It was a misunderstanding to say that Animal Kingdoms’ poorly ran the Queen Ann Stakes 2013 was because Animal Kingdom was crazy about Elusive Kate female horse. Animal Kingdom raced with Moon Light Cloud mare horse at the Breeders’ Cup Mile 2012, he was not going crazy about her. Animal Kingdom ran next to Royal Delta mare horse at the 2013 Dubai World Cup and won easily. Animals are so different from the human being that usually they do not excite about a non-heated mare. He was not that kind of a weak-willed horse either. You can tell how strong willed Animal Kingdom was to win by the Steve Haskin's article ‘2012 Breeders’ Cup Wrapup: Second the Emotion – BloodHorse' published on the internet 07 November, 2012 and the Breeders’ Cup Mile 2012 YouTube video.

We can tell in those YouTube videos and photos on the internet that Animal Kingdom lost a lot of his freshness and vivid strength since June 12, 2013. He had been wearing the shadow roll on him not only galloping but most of the time, everywhere for a week for himself and the jockey's safety, making him not jump at the finish line while racing at the 2013 Royal Ascot Queen Ann Stakes.

I watched TVG in the morning of June 18, 2013 of the Royal Ascot Queen Ann Stakes broadcast. Queen Ann Stakes was the first race of the Royal Ascot for five days of racing. Before the Queen Ann Stakes start, The TVG anchor asked the English analyst in England through the phone "What do you think about Animal Kingdom?" The analyst said "I watched Animal Kingdom's gallop yesterday, it wasn't powerful." The parade started before the Queen Ann Stakes. Animal Kingdom showed up wearing the thick shadow roll on his nose and started the parade. He looked like lost his freshness due to wearing it everywhere most of the time for a week. Then Animal Kingdom's odds started to drop from 4-5, because people saw, during the Royal Ascot parade and the TV broadcast, Animal Kingdom wearing the thick shadow roll and looked like he lost freshness. People started to cancel their bets on Animal Kingdom. They knew that the thick shadow roll on him would not work. I thought if Animal Kingdom could even finish the race, he would be lucky. The race started. The majestic Animal Kingdom hardly could climb up the hill. He opened his mouth widely, because he couldn't breathe well and was tired for he had been wearing the shade roll most of the time for a week.

May I prove mathematically what happened to Animal Kingdom?

Animal Kingdom galloped 5 furlongs in 1.02 minutes on June 5, 2013 without the shadow roll on him, by BLOOD HORSE Thoroughbred Racing, International and Graham Motion's Twitter post.

Animal Kingdom galloped 5 furlongs in 1.03 minutes on June 12, 2013 with the shadow roll on him by BLOOD HORSE Thoroughbred Racing, International and Graham Motion’s Twitter post.
There is 1 second difference.

Animal Kingdom ran 1 second slower with shadow roll on him than without it.
A horse runs 6 lengths or 15 meters in a second.

1 length is 2.5 meters.

5 furlongs: 6 lengths = 8 furlongs (1 mile) : x
5x = 48 lengths.

x = 9.6 lengths.

If Animal Kingdom ran one mile, he would have been 9.6 lengths slower with the shadow roll on him than without the shadow roll on him on June 12, 2013. I cannot tell the exact amount that the shadow roll influenced him to lose his stamina during the whole week (June 12, 2013 - June 18, 2013) of wearing it most of the time. I would estimate it slowed him another second (6 lengths) at the June 18 Queen Ann Mile race for wearing shadow roll for a whole week; constantly slower from June 12, 2013 wearing the shadow roll (We can even tell by looking at Animal Kingdom's photos and YouTube videos taken after wearing the shadow roll that he looked like lost a lot of his freshness and majestic stamina during the week of June 12, 2013 to June 18, 2013, and some analysts noticed and pointed out that also).

9.6 lengths + 6 lengths (for he had shadow roll on him most of the time during June 12, 2013 until after the June 18, 2013 Queen Ann Mile Race) = 15.6 lengths. The shadow roll made Animal Kingdom lose about 15.6 lengths.

Queen Ann Mile record
Frankel won in 2012, with a time of 1. 37.85.
Declaration of War won in 2013, time 1. 38.48
Declaration of War ran 0.63 second slower than Frankel.
1 second: 6 lengths = 0.63 second: X
X = 3.78 lengths

Declaration of War ran 3.78 lengths slower than Frankel.

Animal Kingdom was 11 lengths behind Declaration of War at the Queen Ann Mile.

15.6 lengths (9.6 lengths + 6 lengths) - 11 lengths = 4.6 lengths.

I estimate that Animal Kingdom could run about 4.6 lengths (11.5 meters) faster than Declaration of War. So, if Animal Kingdom would not have been wearing the shadow roll for a whole week and raced without wearing it, could run as fast as Frankel and would have won the 2013 Queen Ann Stakes easily.

They did not take my advice at that time. It was like the Titanic's tragedy of the wireless radio technician aboard the Titanic ignoring the fisherman's warning signal three times which was sent from several miles away in deep night. Aboard the fishing boat, the fisherman sent the signal that the giant iceberg had just passed him and was floating toward the direction of the Titanic in deep night!

We could tell that Animal Kingdom was losing his freshness since wearing the shadow roll. Animal Kingdom lost all his majestic stamina day by day since wearing the shadow roll on top of his nose anywhere and everywhere, most of the time for a whole week to protect him and the jockey from injury, making him not jump at the finish line while racing at the 2013 Royal Ascot Queen Ann Stakes.

Animal Kingdom was not sick or injured in England. Animal Kingdom ran so poorly, 11th of 13 horses. If we have the thick and high shadow roll on top of our nose most of the time for a whole week, we will be worn out more than Animal Kingdom. We might as well call Animal Kingdom's the 2013 Royal Ascot Queen Ann Stakes loss the Land Titanic tragedy.

Animal Kingdom's trainer and his jockey wanted to protect Animal Kingdom horse and the jockey from getting injury for they had been watching their a close friend, Ramon Dominguez, suffering from a skull fracture injury during the time.

Yes, I agree that No one is perfect. We all learn from mistakes and make it better.

We cannot change the race result, but it is not too late to give Animal Kingdom's fame back for himself, his great ancestors, and his descendants. My intention is to give the World Champion Animal Kingdom's fame back and also to let the world know of Animal Kingdom's greatness to breed the world best mares to produce world champions to pass the great Animal Kingdom's blood line through the next generations.

Animal Kingdom could have been the first horse in history to have won all of one of the most prestigious races on three different continents (the Kentucky Derby in America, the Dubai World Cup in Asia, and the Royal Ascot Queen Ann Stakes in Europe).

Animal Kingdom is the master of all three different tracks; dirt, turf, and synthetic. He must have a powerful pedigree, superior and majestic body, intelligence, and strong will to do this.

He is a True Champion!

Sometimes I wonder why this an incredible thing happened?
Was it God's intention?
Why?

I am sure that Graham Motion loves and wanted to take care of Animal Kingdom safely, and now he loves Animal Kingdom's children more than anyone else. Graham Motion trained Animal Kingdom and Animal Kingdom's son Untamed Domain excellently.

Graham Motion is an excellent trainer. He trained Sharing, who won the 2019 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, and the 2024 American Turf Stakes winner Trikari.

Graham Motion also has been working for retired racehorse retraining and the Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund (PDJF).

John Velasquez's won the Kentucky Derby in 2011 with Animal Kingdom, which was his first Kentucky Derby win. John Velazquez rode 12 times but never won the Kentucky Derby until he rode Animal kingdom to victory. Later, he won the Kentucky Derby in 2017 with Always Dreaming and in 2020 with Authentic.

Jockey John Velasquez was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 2012 in the United States of America and accomplished his 6,000th winning ride in 2018. John Velasquez has been working for the Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund (PDJF).

How I tactically helped Animal Kingdom win at the 2013 Dubai World Cup

Woman with sunflowers in her hair.  30x40 inch (76x102 cm), oil on canvas

One day, I looked around and realized that this world is beautiful. Everything has its own unique beauty. I think everything in this world is beautiful and they are artists by themselves!

Even the humble wild flower growing by the side of the road knows how to create its own beauty with its purple colors. Even the rocks leisurely lying by the river shore know the beauty of naive colors and enjoy their own beauty.

I've seen a beautiful seashell before. It has probably become beautiful over millions of years, little by little.

I am an artist, but I cannot create as beautifully as they do. I'm just interpreting with my version.

I was born in Gimcheon, South Korea, in 1960. I graduated from Gimcheon Girls Middle School and Gimcheon Girls High School. I studied law at Gyeongsang National University to become a lawyer. While I was studying law at Gyeongsang National University, I read Somerset Maugham's The Moon and Sixpence(a novelization of the life of Paul Gauguin). I was impressed with how Paul Gauguin quit his stockbroker job, abandoned his wife and five children to become an artist, and moved to Tahiti. Paul Gauguin’s wife was from the Netherlands, and her family was wealthy. She moved to the Netherlands with her children to her family. He said this in a letter to his wife: "Sometimes, when I reflect on it, I say, I'm sorry for you and our children, but I think moving to Tahiti was a good choice for myself and for the world". There, he painted his master piece, which depicted Tahitian scenery and Tahitian people, and died penniless. Until the time I read this novel, I thought I would become a lawyer and enjoy art only as a hobby.

I wanted to study modern art in the United States instead of becoming a lawyer. I postponed law class, and with the college tuition fee, I purchased some paintings and started a small art dealer business to prepare for the expense of studying modern art in the United States. My art dealer business failed, so I went back to law class and realized that I was no longer interested in studying law. I started learning drawing, watercolor painting, and oil painting at a private art studio.

I moved to the United States to fulfill my true artist dream. I graduated from Queen City Beauty College in the United States, acquired a cosmetology license, and worked as a hair stylist. I graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I am interested in horse racing and analysis. I love Animal Kingdom, who won the 2011 Kentucky Derby and the 2013 Dubai World Cup. Animal Kingdom is my hero. I love Animal Kingdom the most because I felt a great passion watching his tremendous speed, effort, and strong will in racing. Moreover, Animal Kingdom is handsome and has such a lovely and friendly personality! I have the pleasure of loving Animal Kingdom so that I can pass the time during my hard artist time. I am the person who tactically helped Animal Kingdom win the world's richest horse race in 2013 a 10 million USD purse sponsored by Emirates Air Line, at the 2013 Dubai World Cup, and the world does not know about it. I wrote and published True King Animal kingdom Horse book on December 19, 2018. I am a US citizen.

One day in 2015, I heard the news that Paul Gauguin's painting 'Two Tahitian Women', 1892, had sold for 300 million dollars.

My life has changed since I read the novel The Moon and Six Pence. I admired Paul Gauguin and his passion for art. I don't regret choosing to be an artist. It has been a long and windy road, and I met Animal Kingdom Horse on that road. When my spirit was lonely, I loved him.

He was The Little Prince, who came from a star I had not known.

I Love You Because

 I love you because,

I love you because you are handsome.

I love you because you are the great Animal Kingdom.

I love you because you are.
